Built in late 1974 for the Minneapolis, St. Paul and Sault Ste. Marie Railroad - known as the Soo Line - it featured gravity outlets and food-safe interior linings. The Soo Line was in operation from 1949 until 1990, when it was consolidated into Canadian Pacific as a subsidiary, now under Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) control.
