Built in the 1970s for Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe, these 50’ boxcars with Barber Roller Bearing trucks were renumbered after the 1996 merger into a BNSF series, and also received a new paint scheme with the Heritage BNSF logo. Formed in 1996 following the merger of Burlington Northern and Santa Fe, BNSF is one of the largest freight railroads in the country with over 32,000 miles of rail. Packaged in a foam family nest style packaging.
