Constructed to satisfy steam locomotives' thirst for water, this fully assembled and decorated model adds instant steam-era realism to any layout. Appearing early in the 20th century, tanks like this were a fixture of railroad facilities until the last days of steam. It's perfect for busy engine terminals, small town yards and near smaller depots where engines were watered during the station stop. Fully assembled, the model features detailed wooden support timbers while the tank is molded in the same main color as other Trackside Built-up buildings.
